Can't Hurt Me
Relentless mental toughness and discipline can transform an underdog into a leader.

I was tentative when I started reading Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. I had no idea what this guy survived growing up. Most of us only see the viral clips about discipline and “stay hard,” but the backstory is wild. He grew up in an abusive home, graduated high school barely able to read, weighed nearly 300 pounds before transforming his life to become a Navy SEAL, endured Hell Week multiple times despite serious injuries, and later ran ultramarathons (100+ mi). Reading it made me realize that people who survive extreme hardship can develop an almost unfair advantage in life. There’s a lot more to this guy than the clips online suggest, and the book ends with a twist I’ll definitely remember. Great read. Stay hard!
