I appreciated the look back to Watson, Crick, and Franklin with regard to the discovery of the DNA double helix to set the tone for this book. Be prepared to reread sections to make sure you truly understand the CRISPR technology and interplay between cas9 enzyme, tracrRNA, and crRNA (unified as single guide RNA) which has the capability of targeted gene editing.
